As expected, Bennie Logan is out for today’s game, while wideout Bryce Treggs will be active and available to sate Carson Wentz’s deep-throwing desire.
With the Eagles releasing Josh Huff this week, Treggs is active as the team’s fourth receiver behind Jordan Matthews, Dorial Green-Beckham, and Nelson Agholor. The hope is that Treggs will give the Eagles some semblance of a deep threat on the outside.
If nothing else, he provides a fresh face that hasn’t been tarnished with memories of dropped passes just yet. Here’s hoping he can hold on to the ball!
In Logan’s place, Beau Allen will start at defensive tackle alongside Fletcher Cox, as he has for the last two weeks.
Also, rookie offensive lineman Isaac Seumalo is active for the first time this season because of Allen Barbre’s hamstring injury. Stefen Wisniewski is starting at left guard, and Seumalo is active as a backup.
Here’s the rest of the Eagles’ inactives:
OL Allen Barbre
Expected. Dealing with hamstring injury suffered in last week’s loss.
OL Josh Andrews
Expected. Backup lineman.
OL Dillon Gordon
Expected. Backup lineman.
DT Taylor Hart
Expected. Dealing with an ankle injury suffered in practice a couple weeks ago.
LB Kamu Grugier-Hill
Expected. Dealing with an injury suffered against the Vikings.
