NFL Week 9 Games: An Open Thread

Games other than the Eagles games.

NFL: Preseason-Green Bay Packers at Kansas City Chiefs Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

There are games today that aren’t the Eagles game! Let’s talk about ‘em real quick!

Cowboys at Browns, 1:00 FOX -- The Cowboys are going to move to 7-1. It’s kind of sickening to say, but Dallas seems fairly legit. They’re playoff-bound.

Steelers at Ravens, 1:00 CBS — As someone who grew up in Pittsburgh, these games are always entertaining. The Steelers are the better team, though.

Lions at Vikings, 1:00 FOX -- I have a feeling the Vikings’ tailspin continues, which only helps the Eagles come draft time next spring! A true win-win.

Jets at Dolphins, 1:00 CBS -- Um... I don’t know? Both are sub-par AFC East teams with very little interest and very little organizational direction. A tie, maybe?

Jaguars at Chiefs, 1:00 CBS — The Chiefs are secretly good, even if they’re starting Nick Foles at quarterback on purpose this week. Kansas City wins again.

Saints at 49ers, 4:05 FOX — Ah, Chipper. Drew Brees is going to throw for 500 yards and the Niners are going to continue to look like a damn tire fire.

Panthers at Rams, 4:05 FOX — Panthers looked more like the Panthers last week. They’re still miles out of the playoff race, but they’ll win this game by a bit.

Titans at Chargers, 4:25 CBS — Marcus Mariota is fun to watch. So is Philip Rivers. This should actually be fairly entertaining! Titans... win?

Colts at Packers, 4:25 CBS -- Yessssss. Aaron Rodgers and Andrew Luck, two quarterbacks not playing up to their potentials but still good at football. Pack win.
