Eagles injury report: Mathews and Matthews sit out

Five total on the injury report

The Eagles returned to practice on Wednesday as they prepare to visit the Bengals.

After missing Monday’s game against the Packers with MCL sprains suffered last week against Seattle, Ryan Mathews and Halapoulivaati Vaitai again missed practice. Their status for Sunday is to be determined.

Jordan Matthews missed practice with an ankle injury that took him out of Monday’s game.

Brandon Brooks returned after missing Monday’s game with an illness, as did Marcus Smith after leaving the Packers game with a shoulder injury.
