What We Talk About

Special guest and radio superstar Jon Marks joins the podcast!

  • The Ertz non-TD and the Agholor drop were the game changers
  • Number 17: Time to sit.
  • No one near him, in stride... drop. It might be mental, it might be talent. But it’s time get more snaps for the rest of the WR core
  • Between Draft Twitter, The Football Outsiders crowd and defending Carson Wentz, it’s really tough to have a conversation about the good and the bad.
  • How should you be judging Carson Wentz right now?
  • We need to talk about Wentz’s deep ball... it’s not great
  • Losing Mathews and Sproles absolutely kills this semi-functional offense
  • It’s hard to overreact to this considering it’s the Seahawks at home.
  • The defense didn’t lose them this game but they struggled in chunks. Brandon Graham penalty turns into a Jimmy Graham tuddy.
  • Watkins and Mills taking really bad angles on the Cj Prosise long run
  • The Eagles and Seahawks defense look a lot closer on paper, but the mentality and the inconsistency are still clearly different
  • Doug called a really good football game for the first half
  • Sounds like Malcolm Jenkins is feeling the frustration a little bit
  • The Eagles are 5-5, but the schedule still is now in their favor for the last six. It crazy to think but they still have a shot at the Wildcard spot. But they are going to need some help.
  • There are lots of layers to this Eagles team and they need to start peeling them a lot faster
  • We hand out some game balls, some wet farts and give our final thoughts
