The Eagles need every win they can get if the playoffs are in the cards. Their Week 13 matchup with the Bengals just theoretically substantially easier.
In the first quarter of Cincinnati’s loss to the Bills, A.J. Green left the game on a cart with a hamstring injury.
After the game came this news, from a reporter for the Bengals’ site:
Bengals fear Green out for year with possible hamstring tear. But MRI pending

Apparently later in the game, Giovani Bernard left with a knee injury.
And then, much later after the game, this news came:

The Eagles face the Bengals in Week 13. It seems like neither of these players will be available for that game.
With Green (964) and Bernard (612) both likely out of the lineup in Week 13, the Bengals, who are 3-5-1, are missing 43.8% of their total yards from scrimmage.
And the Bengals aren’t exactly boasting the stout defense they were a couple years ago. They’ve allowed the 9th-most rushing yards in the league, and the 7th-most passing touchdowns in the league.
If the Bengals can’t score, which they’ll likely struggle to do without those two playmakers, and they’re liable to allow yards and points to opponents (who are averaging 24 points per game vs. CIN in the Bengals’ last six outings), they’re going to have a hard time pulling out wins in the final six games of the season.
