Eagles at Seahawks 1st quarter

Birds vs birds!

Can the Birds make it two straight against bird teams? To do so, the Eagles will have to execute the game plan that got them a win over the Falcons: control the clock by running the ball and passing the ball for modest but efficient gains. Seems easier said than done, but it’s been done to the Seahawks this season. The Saints rushed for 123 yards, holding on to the ball for 36:12 and won 25-20, and the Bills held the ball for an astonishing 40:17, rushing for 162 yards and lost by six.

The Eagles by the way, have the 5th best time of possession per drive, and the 5th best 3rd down defense. They’re certainly capable.

With a 4:25 kickoff, hope you’re extra fired up/liquored up. Go Birds Eagles.
