Eagles injury report: Zach Ertz limited with hamstring

The tight end was not a full participant in Wednesday’s practice.

NFL: Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants William Hauser-USA TODAY Sports

The Eagles returned to practice on Wednesday. Zach Ertz returned, but he did not return in full force, according to the team, because of his hamstring.

Pederson didn’t mention Ertz in his Monday morning injury debriefing, nor did he mention it before Wednesday’s practice began, so it would seem this possible hamstring injury cropped up during practice.

One limited practice certainly isn’t enough to get concerns up. Trey Burton was limited last Friday and was fine for the win over Atlanta. If Ertz is limited again tomorrow, there will be more to look at.

Ertz is playing some of his best football of the year right now, with a combined 14 catches for 152 yards in his last two outings.

Here’s the full injury report:

S Terrence Brooks (hamstring), CB Nolan Carroll (concussion), WR Jordan Matthews (back)

Limited Participation in Practice

TE Zach Ertz (hamstring)

Full Participation in Practice

G Allen Barbre (hamstring), LB Kamu Grugier-Hill (hamstring), CB Leodis McKelvin (hamstring)
