Less is more for the defense

The Eagles defeated the Atlanta Falcons 24-15 with a nearly total team effort. Let’s take a look at the snap counts and see who benefited most and least from the game.

Allen Barbre, Kamu Grugier-Hill, Terrence Brooks and Taylor Hart missed the game with injuries. Steven Means, Dillon Gordon and Josh Andrews were healthy scratches.

NOTES

-Nelson Agholor played 91% of snaps. He had 2 catches for 7 yards.

-Dorial Green-Beckham played 56% of snaps. He wasn’t even thrown at.

-Bryce Treggs played 15 snaps, the same as last week.

-Ryan Mathews played only 33% of snaps, which was less than Darren Sproles.

-Wendell Smallwood’s 19 snaps was his 2nd best of the season.

-Isaac Semualo saw his playing time as the 6th offensive lineman increase to 13 plays.

-At 50 snaps, the defense played their lowest amount of snaps of the season.

-Jalen Mills played 100% of snaps for the first time.

-After being on the field for only 3 plays last week, Mychal Kendricks resumed his normal workload.

-Vinny Curry played a majority of snaps for only the 2nd time all year.
