Doug Pederson updated reporters on the status of a number of Eagles players for this weekend’s game against the Falcons.
Left guard Allen Barbre is out, as is Terrence Brooks. With Barbre out, Stefen Wisniewski will start at left guard for the second week in a row.
According to Pederson, Nolan Carroll is okay. He said Brent Celek will be listed as questionable with the rib injury he’s dealing with, although the way Celek sounded on Thursday, he’ll likely play through the pain.
Bennie Logan is questionable, but all indications are that he will play. Pederson talked that way on Friday. Leodis McKelvin is also questionable; if he can’t go, Pederson said, Jaylen Watkins slides in to his position.
Taylor Hart will be listed as questionable, Kamu Grugier-Hill will be listed as doubtful.
Brandon Brooks won’t practice today because of an illness, but Pederson said he’ll be ready to go for this weekend’s game.
A roster move!
Pederson was asked if the team had finally made the roster move they’d talked about in light of the Josh Huff release, and he said while it hasn’t technically happened yet, Aaron Grymes will be the guy they bump up from the practice squad. Grymes is the guy, Pederson said, both because of the Terrence Brooks injury, and also for his contributions on special teams.
