NFL Week 7 Games: An Open Thread

The sports, they are a-happening.

NFL: International Series-Fan Rally at NFL House Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Howdy, y’all! The Eagles play today at 1:00, but there are plenty of other games happening throughout the day, including one that’s already underway in London, which I totally forgot about because time zones are for the weak and the stupid.

It’s a busy morning, so I’m not previewing each game in this post like I normally do, but here are a few highlights:

Washington at Detroit, 1:00 FOX — Divisional matchup! Washington has won (gasp!) four in a row? That’s so strange. They’re playing fairly sound football lately. Detroit is completely unpredictable, so this one could be pretty entertaining.

New Orleans at Kansas City, 1:00 FOX — Yeah, this is how bad this week’s slate of games is. But watching the Saints’ offense is always a ton of fun, and I’m a big fan of the Chiefs’ run game. This could be pretty enjoyable, as garbage games go.

New England at Pittsburgh, 4:25 CBS — No Ben Roethlisberger takes the wind out of this game’s sails, but the Steelers still have Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell, so maybe they won’t lose by 60? (They’ll probably lose by 60.)
