Week 4 Sunday Night Football: Steelers vs. Chiefs

Are the Steelers still a top-tier team?

NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers at Philadelphia Eagles James Lang-USA TODAY Sports

Steelers vs. Chiefs, Sunday Night Football. Hoo boy. Doesn’t get too much better than that.

I’m most eager to watch this game because I want to see what it says about the Eagles’ win in Week 3. If the Steelers look bad again this evening, maybe the Steelers are just an average team? Which, while surprising in its own right, would certainly inform how we evaluate the Eagles’ first three wins of the season.

However, if the Steelers come out firing on all cylinders and take down the Chiefs, we can feel good about calling the Eagles’ win over the Steelers a season-defining one.

I have a feeling we’ll be doing the latter; there’s too much talent, and good coaching, on the Steelers’ sideline for the team to simply be average, or below-average. That’s a Top 10 football team. On Sunday night, they’ll face another Top 10 football team. Should be a very good one.

If you would like to tune in, here’s everything you need to know in order to watch:
