Ugh.
The Redskins lead the Eagles 24-14 in an ugly game. The Eagles offense finally got back on the field and looked sloppy until Carson Wentz created something out of nothing with a scramble and beautiful throw on the run to Dorial Green-Beckham, but it was negated when the refs called Wendell Smallwood for a block in the back, which he did not commit.
The Redskins picked up the second half where they left off, moving the ball nearly at will against the Eagles on both the ground and the air.
Nolan Carroll left the game near the end of the third quarter, leaving Jalen Mills as the only cornerback on the active roster.
The good news is there’s only one more quarter of this to endure.
