The first game of the 2016 NFL Playoffs is here. It features a matchup between two AFC teams: the Kansas City Chiefs and the Houston Texans.
The Texans somehow found a way to make the postseason despite being 2-5 at one point and starting the likes of Brian Hoyer and Brandon Weeden at quarterback throughout the season. Andy Reid's Chiefs also got off to a slow start. They were 1-5 before winning 10 straight games to end the year. Big Red could be primed for a playoff win if the Chiefs can stay hot.
The Philadelphia Eagles played neither of these teams in 2015. The Reid connection is an obvious rooting interest for Eagles fans, depending on how you still feel about him.
Win or lose, the Eagles are expected to interview Chiefs offensive coordinator Doug Pederson after this game.
