Adam Gase rumors: Eagles to host Bears coach for second interview in Philadelphia

Chris Humphreys-USA TODAY Sports

The Philadelphia Eagles are scheduling a second interview with Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Adam Gase, according to a report from NFL insider Ian Rapoport. The interview is set to take place this upcoming weekend.

The Eagles originally interviewed Gase for eight hours on Tuesday before he left Philadelphia in the evening. The fact that the Eagles already want a second interview shows significant interest.

Gase is reportedly interviewing with the Cleveland Browns today on Wednesday before meeting with the Miami Dolphins tomorrow on Thursday. He's also reportedly set to meet with the New York Giants on Friday. So, as you can see, he's a busy man.

Gase is one of the three candidates the Eagles have officially interviewed so far. The other two names include running back coach Duce Staley and offensive coordinator/interim head coach Pat Shurmur.
