The Philadelphia Eagles are not interested in having Doug Marrone fill their head coaching vacancy, according to a report from CSN Philly's Reuben Frank.
Here's one name you can rule out for Eagles head coach: Doug Marrone. I'm told he's not on the Eagles' list.

Philadelphia's interest in Marrone was first reported by ESPN on Monday. Chris Mortensen said the Eagles planned to interview the current Jaguars assistant head coach and offensive line coach. But now Frank is denying that's the case.
The Eagles already have some level of familiarity with Marrone. The team interviewed him back in 2013 before hiring Chip Kelly. Marrone opted out of his Buffalo contract last offseason but failed to land another head coaching job so he ended up in Jacksonville.
Marrone isn't a particularly inspiring candidate so some Eagles fans will be glad to hear he's out of the running.
