The Philadelphia Eagles are set to hire Rory Segrest to be their defensive line coach, according to BGN Radio's own John Barchard. Barchard spoke with Segrest himself.
Barring an unforeseen change, Rory Segrest (former Eagles coach & current DL coach at Arkansas) will be the next DL coach for the Eagles.

Segrest worked for the Eagles for five seasons before being fired in 2011. He spent a few years as Philadelphia's special teams coordinator before being moved to defensive line coach. After leaving Philadelphia, Segrest returned to the college ranks and coached at Samford. In 2014, he was hired by Bret Bielema to be a part of the Arkansas staff. Segrest has since served as the defensive line and specialists coach for the Razorbacks.
This is certainly a surprising hire because Segrest did not fare well in his first run with the Eagles. Maybe he's learned from his mistakes and he'll be better around this time, but it's fair to be concerned.
With Segrest reportedly expected to join and now John DeFilippo officially hired as quarterbacks coach, the Eagles have pretty much filled out Doug Pederson's coaching staff.
