Notes:
• As previously noted, the Eagles still have to hire a QB coach and DL coach. DeFilippo is rumored to be the QB coach. There haven't been any rumors about DL.
• The Eagles are keeping a total of seven coaches in from Chip Kelly's staff. Names include: Fipp, Staley, Peelle, Stoutland, Taylor, Undlin, and Harper.
• Reich was reportedly Pederson's top target for offensive coordinator. Read more about him here. Pederson reportedly wanted Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo but Schwartz is a much, much better hire (on paper, at least).
• Chung, formerly an Eagles assistant under Reid's staff in Philadelphia, was hired away from Kansas City. He served as the Chiefs' assistant offensive line coach. Now his title suggests he'll have extra responsibility, such as assisting with tight ends (teaching them how to block) and helping coordinate the run game.
• The hire of Lewis was first reported earlier this week. He certainly wasn't a great player for the Eagles but maybe he'll be a better coach. Lewis spent the 2015 season as an offensive assistant with the Saints.
• The Flajole hire was reported before the Pederson hire was even reported. He coached in the NFL from 1998 through 2015 so he has a lot of experience. He was the defensive coordinator for the Rams from 2009 through 2011.
• Vasso was an assistant for the Chiefs over the past three seasons. Funny enough, he attended the University of New Hampshire. Kelly was offensive coordinator at UNH during Vasso's freshman season.
• Daniels was a fourth round pick in the 1996 NFL Draft and played in the NFL for 14 seasons. He last played for Philadelphia's NFC East rival in 2010: Washington.
