Schwartz has already been connected to the Eagles by Don Banks of Sports Illustrated. ESPN NFL insider Adam Caplan also confirmed the two sides have had contact.
Schwartz is arguably one of the best defensive coordinator options for the Eagles. He last coached the Bills defense in 2014. Buffalo's defense allowed the fourth least points and yards under his coaching in 2014.
Several reports indicate Schwartz interviewed for the Jacksonville Jaguars defensive coordinator job recently. The Eagles would be wise to lock up Schwartz if they get the chance.
