Packers-Redskins Final Score: Washington eliminated from NFL playoffs with loss to Green Bay, 35-18

Washington is done.

Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

The Redskins are not headed to the divisional round of the 2016 NFL playoff schedule. Washington was defeated by the Green Bay Packers in Maryland on Sunday by a final score of 35-18.

Washington got off to a nice 11-0 start. It could have easily been 15-0 if not for this incredibly dumb play by DeSean Jackson, who finished with two receptions for 17 yards. How did he not manage to extend his arm over the goal line here?

Aaron Rodgers and the Packers responded by scoring 17 unanswered points to take the lead. Washington scored another touchdown to go up 18-17 but then it was all Packers the rest of the way.

Maybe Washington would have benefited from a better fan presence. There were some awfully loud Packers chants at the game:

Philadelphia Eagles fans are probably taking solace in the fact that their NFC East rivals have been eliminated from the playoffs. But I shouldn't make assumptions, so I'll ask you just to make sure ...
