Chiefs wide receiver Jeremy Maclin did NOT tear his ACL in Kansas City's victory over the Houston Texans in the first round of the 2016 NFL playoffs on Saturday. This is great news for the former Eagles pass catcher.
MRI showed Chiefs WR Jeremy Maclin did NOT tear his ACL, per source. He did suffer a high ankle sprain. Status for Saturday at NE uncertain.

Maclin's injury originally looked pretty serious because he was down on the field for a long time and he was crying after he got up. Thankfully for his sake that's not the case. Better yet, he might even have a chance to play against the New England Patriots this week.
On-field exam for Jeremy Maclin appeared to show an ACL tear. Thus, the tears. MRI showed it was intact. There's actually a chance he plays.
