The Philadelphia Eagles will be keeping undrafted free agent running back Raheem Mostert after all. According to Mostert's agent, the rookie cleared waivers and is set to join Philadelphia's 10-man practice squad.
Looks like Raheem Mostert (RB/KR, Purdue) cleared waivers and will be signing to the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad shortly.

Some thought Mostert might not make it through waivers after having such a strong summer. The Purdue alumnus finished the preseason as the NFL's leader in yards from scrimmage and total yards this preseason. Mostert carried the ball 39 times for a total of 157 yards (4.0 average). He also recorded 14 receptions for 194 yards (13.9 average). Mostert returned five kickoffs for a total of 162 yards (32.4), with a long of 67 yards.
The Eagles opted to keep former Oregon Ducks running back Kenjon Barner on the 53-man roster over Mostert. Now the Eagles will get to keep both players in Philadelphia.

Mostert is just one of the players whom the Eagles have reportedly signed to their practice squad. More updates here.
