Tebow Time is over. The Philadelphia Eagles officially released the popular third string quarterback Tim Tebow earlier on Saturday. But maybe it's not over for good? Here's an interesting report via the Philadelphia Inquirer:
Chip Kelly told Tim Tebow that he should go get reps in the CFL and then he may look at him again, NFL source said.

This report lines up with something Kelly said during his press conference on Saturday afternoon.
"You know, I talked to [Tebow] a little earlier today when we released him and I think he just needs to get more playing time; he needs to get out there and get actual reps because I think he has done a ton on his own from an individual basis, but it’s about playing the game," Kelly said. "It’s taking that next step and now playing the game."
So maybe it's possible the Eagles bring Tebow back one day? It doesn't seem likely. Tebow hasn't showed a willingness to play in the CFL before. But maybe that could change if he knows it would help him get a job on the Eagles again. Who knows.
In any case, the Eagles are moving on without Tebow for now. Philadelphia only kept 52 players and Kelly said the team is looking for a third quarterback. Former first round pick Christian Ponder is rumored to be one of the players the Eagles might target.
