The Philadelphia Eagles are looking for a new third string quarterback after releasing Tim Tebow. According to Rand Getlin of NFL Media, one of the options the Eagles are looking into is Christian Ponder.
Multiple sources tell me the #Eagles have interest in Christian Ponder. Team always maintained it's about putting together "the best 53".

The 27-year-old Ponder was recently released by the Oakland Raiders after being beat out by former Penn State quarterback Matt McGloin.
Ponder began his career with the Minnesota Vikings. He was selected by the Vikings with the No. 12 overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft. Ponder struggled to impress with the Vikings. After falling out of favor in Minnesota, remained as the backup quarterback before his rookie contract expired.
For what it's worth, Ponder is a good athlete.
Ponder isn't much more than a third string quarterback, but he has some NFL experience so it's easy to see why the Eagles could have some interest.
