The Philadelphia Eagles are set to host some free agent kickers on Monday, according to a report from Alex Marvez. The Eagles are reportedly doing this because second-year kicker Cody Parkey aggravated the groin injury that caused him to miss a few games in the preseason.

The 23-year-old Parkey noticeably struggled with kickoffs during the Eagles' game against the New York Jets on Sunday. One of his kicks went out of bounds and drew a penalty.
Eagles head coach Chip Kelly has been very supportive of Parkey in the past, even after when the kicker missed a potential game-winning field goal in Week 1 against the Atlanta Falcons.
It remains to be seen which kickers the Eagles will work out. It also remains to be seen if the Eagles will carry two kickers on the 53-man roster while Parkey recovers.
Stay tuned for updates.
UPDATE: Ian Rapoport notes Nick Novak is one of the kickers. The 34-year-old veteran last played with the Chargers.
