The Philadelphia Eagles are scheduled to face the New York Jets today on Sunday, Sept. 27 at 1:00 PM EST. It's a big game for the Eagles because they absolutely need to win it.
After starting out the season 0-2, Philadelphia simply can't afford to lose today. Dropping down to 0-3 is often too big of a deficit to overcome. The Eagles' struggling offense needs to find a way to somehow get back on track against the tough New York Jets defense. Making matters worse for Philadelphia is they will be without a number of key players due to injury, including starting running DeMarco Murray and inside linebackers Mychal Kendricks and Kiko Alonso, just to name a few. The entire list of injured players is here.
The Eagles' backs are against the wall. It's time for them to do or die.
