The Philadelphia Eagles released their first official injury report in advance of their Week 3 game against the New York Jets.
Prior to practice, Chip Kelly confirmed Kiko Alonso has a knee sprain, which is synonymous for the reported partial ACL tear. Kelly said he hasn't ruled out Alonso for this week, for what it's worth, but the linebacker didn't practice on Wednesday.
The other big news is that DeMarco Murray left practice early with a hamstring injury. The full extent of Murray's injury is unclear.
Mychal Kendricks still isn't practicing after suffering a hamstring injury on Sunday. Defensive coordinator Bill Davis said there's an "outside chance" Kendricks plays this week.
Starting defensive end Cedric Thornton is still missing from practice due to a broken hand. Backup defensive end Taylor Hart is also still out due to a shoulder injury. If neither Thornton nor Hart can play, the Eagles will be forced to rely more heavily upon Vinny Curry and Brandon Bair at defensive end.
Fletcher Cox and Jerome Couplin returned to practice on Wednesday after being held out on Tuesday.
