Which New York Jets player would the Philadelphia Eagles take?

A theme post the SB Nation NFL sites have been done in the past and will continue to do throughout this season is "Which [opposing team's] player would [your favorite team's] fans take?" With the Philadelphia Eagles set to play the New York Jets on Sunday, it's time to familiarize yourself with the opponent's roster and address the question.

Offense

The Eagles' biggest concern right now is arguably the offensive line. The Jets don't really have anything all that special up front, but Nick Mangold is a six-time Pro Bowl center. Jason Kelce really struggled against the Cowboys. With that said, it's hardly time for Kelce to be replaced, so let's look elsewhere.

Adding Brandon Marshall to this lifeless Eagles offense probably wouldn't hurt. Philadelphia's wide receivers haven't really done much at all and the 6-4, 230 pound veteran would provide a much more reliable option.

As depressing as it might sound, Ryan Fitzpatrick might be an upgrade on the Eagles' quarterback situation right now. The bearded Harvard alumnus has completed 63.8% of his passes for 423 yards (7.3 per attempt), four touchdowns, two interceptions, and a 94.3 passer rating. Compare that to Sam Bradford, who has completed 66.3% of his passes for 560 yards (6.3 per attempt), two touchdowns, four interceptions, and a 72.3 passer rating.

Defense

Philadelphia's defense is really hurting this week, but especially at inside linebacker. With Mychal Kendricks and Kiko Alonso potentially out, David Harris could be a good pairing next to Jordan Hicks in order to keep DeMeco Ryans off the field.

With Cedric Thornton likely out, Temple alumnus Muhammad Wilkerson would be a great replacement. The combination of Fletcher Cox and Mo would be a handful for opposing offensive lines.

At cornerback, Darrelle Revis is an obvious answer. The only question is should he replace the struggling Byron Maxwell or would you bench the quietly solid Nolan Carroll instead?
