Kiko Alonso injury could be season-ending, per report

Not good news for the Eagles, if true.

The latest update on the injury status of Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Kiko Alonso doesn't seem to be a very encouraging one for the team. According to NFL insider Mike Garafolo, Alonso's injury might be season-ending. More details:

This report from Garafolo seems to differ from earlier reports which indicate Alonso did not suffer an ACL tear. Still, as Garafolo notes, it seems like an official determination on Alonso's status hasn't been made yet. So we're all still waiting to hear something more definitive.

It would be extremely disappointing for Alonso and the Eagles to see him go down with a season-ending injury. Alonso battled his way back to get healthy after missing the entire 2014 season.

Stay tuned for more updates on Alonso's status.
