This report from Garafolo seems to differ from earlier reports which indicate Alonso did not suffer an ACL tear. Still, as Garafolo notes, it seems like an official determination on Alonso's status hasn't been made yet. So we're all still waiting to hear something more definitive.
It would be extremely disappointing for Alonso and the Eagles to see him go down with a season-ending injury. Alonso battled his way back to get healthy after missing the entire 2014 season.
Stay tuned for more updates on Alonso's status.
