After signing two players to their practice squad and releasing another on Tuesday evening, the Philadelphia Eagles have announced two more changes to their scout team.
First, the Eagles waived/injured defensive end Brian Mihalik. The Boston College alumnus was drafted by the Eagles with a seventh round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. No word on what injury he suffered. The Eagles are very deep at defensive end on the 53-man roster, so Mihalik never really had a chance to crack the rotation.
To fill the open practice squad spot, the Eagles signed tight end Connor Hamlett. The 23-year-old Hamlett measures in at 6-7, 266 pounds. After playing college football at Oregon State, Hamlett signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent following the 2015 NFL Draft. He was waived during the first round of roster cuts in late August. BGN alumnus Mike Kaye says Hamlett had a good camp with the Jaguars.
With these moves, the Eagles' practice squad is now finalized at the 10-man limit. Here's the complete list of players.
