Sunday Night Football wraps up a busy Sunday of NFL Week 1 action. The New York Giants are in Texas to take on the Dallas Cowboys. It's an SNF match-up between two NFC East rivals.
Philadelphia Eagles fans certainly won't be rooting for either of these teams, but one could certainly argue the Giants are the lesser of the two evils. New York appears to be less of a threat to the Eagles in the NFC East this year than the Cowboys will be. Some people might want to see a tie, which is obviously unlikely, but a Cowboys loss is arguably what helps the Eagles the most in this game.
This will be an interesting game for Eagles fans to watch, and not just because of the rivalry factor. There are plenty of question marks with both of these teams. How will the weak Giants defense look now with the loss of Jason Pierre-Paul? How will the Cowboys' running game look after letting DeMarco Murray walk to the Eagles and not doing much to replace him? At the very least, this is a nice way to pass the time until the Eagles play the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football.
Here's who the BGN writers are taking to win. Here's advice when picking against the spread.
