The Philadelphia Eagles released their first official injury report in preparation of their Week 1 game against the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football.
Zach Ertz was limited in practice on Thursday. The tight end is still recovering from surgery on his groin. Ertz expects to be a game-time decision for Monday night. It seems like he's eager to play. If Ertz can't play, Trey Burton will need to step up at tight end.
Second-year outside linebacker Marcus Smith was also limited. He's recovering from a hamstring injury suffered during training camp. Smith expects to be 100% by Week 2, but it's unclear if he will play against the Falcons. If Smith can't play, some combination of Vinny Curry, Bryan Braman, and/or Brad Jones could see snaps at outside linebacker.
No other Eagles players were missing from practice. Philadelphia is relatively healthy heading into Week 1.
