Preseason football!

Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports

Philadelphia Eagles football is almost back. In one week from today, the Eagles will play their first preseason game of the 2015 NFL season.

It's been a long time since the Eagles last took to the field. The final Eagles game of the 2014 season was all the way back on Dec. 28, 2014. Philadelphia's football team has undergone a lot of major changes since then. Nick Foles, LeSean McCoy, and other veterans are gone. The likes of Sam Bradford, DeMarco Murray, and others will be making their Eagles debut at Lincoln Financial Field instead.

The Eagles are scheduled to play the Indianapolis Colts at Lincoln Financial Field starting at 1:00 PM on Sunday, Aug. 16. It seems weird that the Eagles are playing a preseason game so early in the day. According to Weather.com, it's projected to be 91 degrees that day. Playing football in the heat and sun can't be all that fun for the players.

All of the Eagles' four preseason games will be aired on NBC10. Mike Mayock will be the color analyst. You can stream the games live by using NFL Game Pass. As a reminder, here is the entire Eagles 2015 preseason schedule.
