Obviously a great choice.
Bednarik passed away earlier this year in late March. The Bethlehem, Pennsylvania native was 89 years old at the time. Bednarik will always be remembered as one the greatest legends in Eagles history. Bednarik's highly-decorated career featured eight Pro Bowl selections, 10 All-Pro selections, and two NFL championships. He was one of the last players to ever play on both sides of the ball for the entire 60 minutes of the game.
Bednarik was a key contributor to the last championship the Eagles won, which was all the way back in 1960. The team could honor the memory of him even further by bringing an end to the title drought this season. Win it for Chuck.
