DeMarco Murray, Kiko Alonso active for Eagles vs. Ravens preseason game

New, comments

Only two Philadelphia Eagles players will be sitting out for the team's preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens.

The Philadelphia Eagles will only be without two players heading into their game against the Baltimore Ravens. The following players are officially inactive and will not play:

TE Zach Ertz

OLB Marcus Smith

None of these are a surprise. Ertz is out for the entire preseason after suffering a core muscle injury. Smith suffered a hamstring strain last week and will two or three weeks.

Sam Bradford is ACTIVE and will start at quarterback. It's unclear how many snaps Bradford will play. Once he's done, Mark Sanchez will take his place. Then the Eagles will turn it over to Matt Barkley and Tim Tebow for the remainder of the game.

Major Eagles offseason acquisitions DeMarco Murray and Kiko Alonso are active but it's unclear if they will actually play. Keep in mind the Eagles made Murray "active" last Sunday but didn't actually play him.

Andrew Gardner is expected to start at right guard once again.
