A few days prior to the Eagles-Colts game last week, Chip Kelly announced Sam Bradford would not be active against Indianapolis. The Eagles head coach did say, however, that Bradford was expected to play when the team takes on the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday, Aug. 22. So is Kelly sticking to his word?
It's unclear. Kelly was asked about Bradford's status prior to Philadelphia's training camp practice on Thursday afternoon, but the coach said no decisions have been made on which players are playing or not. Those decisions, according to Kelly, will come tomorrow on Friday.
One reporter later followed up by asking if there's an ideal number of snaps the team would like to see Bradford play before Philadelphia's first regular season game on Sept. 14. Kelly originally said he didn't have a number, but when the reporter pushed him further, he sarcastically threw out a number: 106.
Bradford has looked good in practice this week. Kelly himself said the quarterback did a "real nice job" against the Ravens on Wednesday. Perhaps that bodes well for the chances of Bradford making his Eagles debut.

In other news: backup safety Earl Wolff (knee) is not at Thursday's practice. Kelly said he's still visiting a doctor.
