Eagles practice notes, August 19, 2015: No fights on the field, but one on the sidelines - PhillyVoice
If you've read me here, I've said that Sam Bradford has barely moved during training camp. Today, I saw more bounce in his step during his dropbacks than I've seen to date. However, I should note that on one play he tried to climb the pocket when he sensed an outside rush, and it was, um, sloooow.

DeMarco Murray: 'Definitely need a touch or two' in preseason - CSN Philly
By now, the story has become all too familiar. DeMarco Murray hasn't been practicing much during training camp and that has created concern about if the 27-year-old will be prepared for the Eagles' season opener Sept. 14 in Atlanta. It's not that Murray hasn't been practicing that stems the uneasiness; it's the lack of carries. "I don't know the number," Murray said of how many carries he needs to be ready for the regular season. "Just need to get a good feel. I don't know the number. Obviously, you're out here practicing. You're out here working. Definitely need to get a touch or two in the preseason."

Ravens-Eagles Practice #1 - Iggles Blitz
Maxwell isn’t just a big, physical corner. He is smart and skilled as well. I think that overall combination is why the Eagles were willing to pay him so much without him being a guy with a long track record.

Back to the Smith-Rowe thing. The veteran receiver catches a pass in the back of the end zone, but Rowe gets his arm in there at the last second and pops the ball loose. "The light's coming on for him," said Maxwell. "He punched three balls out [today]. I don't know if y'all realized that. He had three turnovers. He's a playmaker, man. He's got a knack for the ball." Smith apparently told Rowe, "I saw it in your eyes, you about to [expletive] yourself," but obviously Rowe did just fine. "He made a play, I think," said a disgruntled Smith afterwards when asked about the rookie. "You can write whatever you want. You're going to find out on Saturday."

Eagles' special teams have tough act to follow - Daily News
In case you were wondering how a team that committed a league-high 36 turnovers and allowed the fourth-most touchdown passes in the NFL (30) somehow managed to win 10 games last season, the answer is special teams. Fipp's special-teams units were the very best in the NFL. They scored a league-high seven touchdowns. They blocked a league-high four punts, as well as a field goal and a PAT.

Sam Bradford, Tim Tebow report card from Eagles training camp -
Bradford was very sharp in a red zone drill, throwing back-to-back touchdowns against the Ravens' first-team defense. His first score went to Josh Huff, who beat his man over the middle and caught the ball before crossing the goal line. Bradford finished the red zone drills for the day a combined 3-of-5, with all three of his completions going for touchdowns.

Eric Rowe: Continuing Education At CB -
Across from him was NFL veteran wide receiver Steve Smith, the itty-bitty future Hall of Famer with the big-time game in every way. For rookie cornerback Eric Rowe, it was another day and another part of the education into what it takes to make it here.
