Cowboys DE Greg Hardy contributes money for airplane banner to be flown over Eagles practice - PhillyVoice
I'm told that women are gathering up money for their own banner in response to Greg Hardy's banner.

Boykin: Surprised, but 'Super Excited' - Daily News
In a text message, Boykin said he was surprised by the move, made the night before the opening of Eagles training camp at NovaCare, but added he was "super excited for a new opportunity with a team that wants me."

It Finally Happened - Iggles Blitz
I know this move will frustrate plenty of people, but it was the smart move. Boykin was going to leave in free agency next March. The Eagles would have gotten nothing in compensation (Comp picks only come if your team doesn’t sign any free agents to big deals and you just can’t count on that). By moving him now you get a pick for the 2016 draft. If that does become a 4th rounder, that’s a good pick.

Eagles Trade Brandon Boykin To Steelers - Birds 24/7
Though his playing time was limited, both Kelly and Davis said they viewed nickel as a starting position, and Boykin filled that role well for the most part. So why deal him? Part of the answer lies in the fact that his rookie contract was set to expire at the end of the year, and it was unlikely that Boykin would have chosen to re-sign here. Instead of letting him walk without a return at season's end, they get a mid-round pick for him. It also suggests that Kelly is happy with the group of young corners they have in the fold.

Trade: Vote Of Confidence For CB Depth - PE.com
It is an appropriate way to open Training Camp, right? The Eagles made a move, a trade in this case, that tells us something about how they value what they've seen from their new-look cornerback group.

Eagles counting on Thurmond to switch from cornerback to safety - Inquirer
Walter Thurmond watches Malcolm Jenkins in practice. He has emulated former teammates Earl Thomas and Antrel Rolle. It's part of his acclimation to a new position, but it's no coincidence those are safeties that Thurmond says he admires. Jenkins and Rolle entered the NFL as cornerbacks before switching to safety. Thomas made the change in college. They all experienced what Thurmond went through this spring, when the Eagles decided to move Thurmond, a career cornerback, to safety.

Believe it or not, Kelly and Rosenhaus share mutual respect - CSN Philly
Rosenhaus, the super agent who famously clashed with Eagles management in 2005 over the team’s handling of Terrell Owens, represents each of the three Pro Bowl talents who are no longer with the team — or in Gore’s case never was with the team. Rosenhaus can be outspoken and controversial, the kind of personality that some might think Kelly lacks the patience for. But the perception, according to both, couldn’t be further from the truth. In a phone interview with CSNPhilly.com, Rosenhaus said the notion that he and Kelly are at odds is "absurd."

Will Cordarrelle Patterson ever give the Vikings more than 'flash'? - SB Nation
Receivers often find the transition from the college game to the pros to be a difficult one. Patterson saw his snaps taper off as the 2014 season went on, and is now in for a fight to become the player the Vikings thought he'd be.
