Philadelphia Eagles depth chart 2015: First edition of NFL training camp

Find the Philadelphia Eagles first 2015 depth chart below.

Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

The Philadelphia Eagles released their first 2015 depth chart in advance of the team's first preseason game against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday afternoon. Exciting!

But before you get too excited, realize this depth chart is very unofficial. It even says that in the title of the post on the team's web site. Head coach Chip Kelly has noted many times that he has nothing to do with the depth chart the team puts out. The online depth chart is put together by Eagles director of public relations Derek Boyko.

Also keep in mind Chip Kelly's depth chart is "written in sand" which means that things can easily change. There are still four preseason games to go through before training camp battles and roster bubbles are finalized. Don't read into this too much. Still, it's fun to take a look.

OFFENSE

QB: Sam Bradford, Mark Sanchez, Matt Barkley, Tim Tebow

RB: DeMarco Murray, Ryan Mathews, Darren Sproles, Kenjon Barner, Raheem Mostert, Kevin Monangai

WR: Jordan Matthews, Seyi Ajirotutu, Rasheed Bailey, G.J. Kinne

WR: Riley Cooper, Miles Austin, Jeff Maehl, Freddie Martino

WR: Josh Huff, Nelson Agholor, Quron Pratt, Mike Johnson, Josh Reece

TE: Brent Celek, Zach Ertz, Trey Burton, Andrew Gleichert, Justin Tukes, Eric Tomlinson

LT: Jason Peters, Andrew Gardner, Brett Boyko

LG: Allen Barbre, Matt Tobin, Mike Coccia, Jared Wheeler

C: Jason Kelce, David Molk, Josh Andrews

RG: Andrew Gardner/John Moffitt/Matt Tobin/Julian Vandervelde, Malcolm Bunche

RT: Lane Johnson, Dennis Kelly, Kevin Graf

Quick take:

No real surprises here. Sam Bradford is obviously the starter (once again, so much for "quarterback competition"). The team lists the four man competition at right guard, which Gardner might be leading right now.

DEFENSE

DE: Fletcher Cox, Brandon Bair, Taylor Hart, B.J. McBryde

NT: Bennie Logan, Beau Allen, Wade Keliikipi, Travis Raciti

DE: Cedric Thornton, Vinny Curry, Brian Mihalik

OLB: Connor Barwin, Bryan Braman, Brandon Hepburn, Diaheem Watkins

ILB: DeMeco Ryans/Kiko Alonso, Brad Jones, Jordan Hicks

ILB: Mychal Kendrics/Kiko Alonso, Najee Goode, Emmanuel Acho

OLB: Brandon Graham Marcus Smith, Jordan DeWalt-Ondijo

CB: Byron Maxwell, E.J. Biggers, Jaylen Watkins, Denzel Rice

CB: Nolan Carroll, Eric Rowe, Randall Evans, Marc Anthony

S: Walter Thurmond, Chris Maragos, Chris Prosinski, Jerome Couplin

S: Malcolm Jenkins, Earl Wolff, Ed Reynolds

Quick take:

Interesting to see how the inside linebackers are listed. Alonso is connected to both spots.

Nolan Carroll is listed ahead of Eric Rowe in the cornerback competition. Walter Thurmond is the favorite at safety here as well.

SPECIAL TEAMS

P: Donnie Jones, Kip Smith

K: Cody Parkey

H: Donnie Jones, Mark Sanchez

PR: Darren Sproles, Nelson Agholor, Raheem Mostert

KOR: Josh Huff, Ryan Mathews, Nelson Agholor

LS: Jon Dorenbos, Brent Celek

Quick take:

No real surprises, but a little interesting to see Mathews listed behind Huff as the kickoff returner. The running back hasn't really done much of that in the NFL.
