The 2015 NFL Supplemental Draft has come and gone and only one player was selected: Clemson offensive tackle Isaiah Battle. The St. Louis Rams decided to use a fifth round pick on him so that means they won't have their corresponding selection in the actual 2016 NFL Draft.
The remaining six eligible draft prospects are now considered undrafted rookie free agents and are available to sign with any team. Those players include: DL Darrius Caldwell, DL Dalvon Stuckey, DL Eric Eiland, TE Sean McQuillan, DB Kevin Short, and WR Adrian Wilkins. BGN profiled all of these players earlier this week.
Though the Philadelphia Eagles did not spend a pick, they did reportedly show some interest in Wilkins leading up to the draft. That could be something to keep an eye on, or it could be entirely meaningless.
Speaking of meaningless, my 2015 NFL Supplemental Mock Draft was almost entirely accurate! I had Battle going in the fifth round, but to the Broncos and not the Rams. I was only off by a mere 18 picks.
Now that the NFL Supplemental Draft is out of the way there's really nothing else scheduled to take place before training camp starts in three weeks on August 2.
It can't come soon enough.
