With Sam Bradford, Chip Kelly Believes Odds Are In His Favor - Birds 24/7
When it came to Bradford, the Eagles doctors consulted with the St. Louis trainers and the those that performed the surgery. The word they received was that the 27-year-old, coming off the second tear of his left ACL in less than a year's time, "was fine" and "was progressing." Further, there was no cartilage issues in the knee. On both occasions, it was just the ACL that was damaged. The Eagles did their own independent research as well and reached the conclusion that when it comes to ACLs, there is a 10-to-12 percent chance of re-injury. "So that’s an 88-to-90 percent chance that they’re going to be successful,” said Kelly.

But given the opportunity to upgrade on offense at the most important position, Kelly pulled the trigger on a deal that sent quarterback Nick Foles to the Rams for Sam Bradford and his $13 million contract. The trade raised eyebrows because the Eagles also included a second round pick for the oft-injured quarterback. "If you're not going to pick 1 or 2, how do you go get a quarterback?" Kelly said. "Peyton Manning switched teams because of an injury. Drew Brees switched teams because of an injury. So we went down that path."

Chip Kelly Update: Things You Don’t Already Know - Fishduck
Dallas ran Murray far too many times last year, but “the Curse of 370″ [snaps in a year] is a foolish myth, as I just explored in detail at BGN. DeMarco has under 1,000 career carries, and Ryan (“One-T”) Mathews and Darren Sproles will spell him this year. He’ll definitely rack up fewer than 1,800 yards this year, with 100 fewer carries (hopefully), but his YPC will probably go up and the Eagles running attack should be dominant. McCoy will probably see the opposite — many more carries than the 314 he had last year, but fewer YPC and a significant risk of injury with a bad OL and no QB to keep defenses honest by throwing.

The other starting guard job is more of a battle to watch. Among the possibilities are Dennis Kelly, Andrew Gardner and Matt Tobin, a trio of younger players who can play both guard and tackle, and the recently acquired John Moffitt, a fourth-year player who has started 15 games in his career. Moffitt is perhaps the most intriguing starting candidate. He spent 2014 away from football, but now that he’s back, the former third-round pick could be a prime candidate to contribute right away.

The Eagles have no choice but to start Sam Bradford at quarterback - NJ.com
In a league built around quarterbacks, the Eagles don't have any great options. Bradford has been a bust as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. Mark Sanchez turns the ball over too much. Matt Barkley has no starting experience. Tebow hasn't been in the league for the past two years and is far too inconsistent.  There is no good answer, which has to keep head coach Chip Kelly up at night.

A fan's guide to Eagles training camp - CSN Philly

Despite their abysmal record in Super Bowls, the nation of France should jump to the front of the line for an expansion team.
