Greg Hardy's Cowboys suspension reduced to 4 games

The Eagles will only face Hardy once in 2014.

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

Dallas Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy will not be suspended for 10 games this upcoming season. According to an official release, Hardy's suspension has been reduced to a mere four games instead. Hardy was originally suspended for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy. It remains to be seen if Hardy will continue to fight the suspension.

For now, what this means for the Philadelphia Eagles is that they will have to face Hardy this season. It originally appeared they would miss out on having to face Hardy because the Eagles play the Cowboys in Week 2 and Week 9 of the 2015 season. Hardy will now be suiting up for Week 9 but he will still miss the Week 2 game scheduled to take place in Philadelphia.

The Cowboys' signing of Hardy was nothing short of controversial. While there's no question he's a talented player, there are definitely questions about his off-the-field behavior. Hardy was suspended for all but one game in 2014 due to domestic abuse charges.

Once again, here's an epic video of a Dallas reporter ripping the Cowboys for the Hardy signing after it happened:
