St. Louis Rams players love Nick Foles

Former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles is getting rave reviews from his new team. St. Louis Rams wide receiver Kenny Britt had the following to say about his new teammate after an OTA practice earlier this week:

"We love [Nick Foles]. Great deep ball, he puts it on the money every time. He can throw every pass in the book."

The bonding seems to be going great:

Britt's quotes hardly come as a surprise. Foles was well-liked by his teammates in Philadelphia as well. But the obvious truth is that Chip Kelly did not love Foles, at least as a player. Despite his insistence that he wanted to keep Foles, Kelly ultimately decided the Eagles are better off with the injury-prone Sam Bradford.

Despite his major statistical success in 2013, Foles really struggled last season. He led the NFL in turnovers prior to suffering a season-ending shoulder injury in Week 9. Some argued Foles was the victim of a poor offensive line, but clearly Kelly didn't feel that way.

The Eagles were not wrong to move on from Foles, but it remains to be seen if Bradford can be the answer. For what it's worth, Bradford's teammates are raving about him as well. For example, Zach Ertz has already said Bradford has a stronger arm than Foles, Michael Vick, and Andrew Luck.
