NBA Finals start tonight: Which Eagles players make up the team's Big 3?

Which players matter the most?

Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

The 2015 NBA Finals start tonight. It should be a pretty good series between the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers. It's hard to bet against LeBron James, but Stephen Curry (MVP) and the Warriors have been just so good this year.

Each team has their own Big 3 of sorts. For the Warriors, I would say it's Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green. For the Cavaliers, it's LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, and Kevin Love. Unfortunately for Cleveland, Love suffered a season-ending injury in the first round. But you get the point. Three key players who make up the team's core.

In what's become an annual tradition here at BGN, I now ask: which players make up the Eagles' Big 3? Pick the three Eagles players who are most vital to the team's success. Last year most answers seemed to include Nick Foles and LeSean McCoy. Now both of those players are gone.

So what does the Big 3 look like now? Sam Bradford should probably be in there. DeMarco Murray makes sense. Jason Peters' nickname is literally "The Franchise." Byron Maxwell was signed to a huge contract to help turn Philadelphia's secondary around. Malcolm Jenkins is a well-spoken leader on the back end. There are a lot of candidates to choose from.

Who makes up the Eagles big three? Which players are most important to the team's overall success?
