What they're saying: Giants punter Steve Weatherford runs his mouth about the Eagles - PhillyVoice
Over the last two seasons, the Giants are 13-19 with a point differential of -109. They were also swept last season by the Eagles, including an embarrassing 27-0 shutout, before which several Giants players ran their mouths and danced on the Eagles' logo at midfield.
From Vegas to Philly, DeMarco Murray has learned to play his cards right - Daily News
"He knows he has something to prove in Philadelphia," said White, his high school coach. "He told me, 'Philly fans are behind me, but if I mess up, they'll let me hear it.' But he loves that attitude and he's looking forward to playing there."
Fan-Demonium: An All-Time Great Debate - PE.com
So let's have some fun. Which all-time Eagles would you most like to add to this team? The first thing you consider is quarterback. Can you imagine Chip Kelly coaching a dynamic weapon like Randall Cunningham? Wow, that would make for some spectacular moments. Unfortunately, Cunningham would not fit the culture Kelly wants. He lacked the work ethic to turn his enormous potential into consistent greatness. Ron Jaworski would be interesting in the Eagles’ current offense. I think some of the short passes would drive Jaws crazy. He played in an era when you threw the ball down the field.

Doug Farrar of SI.com would rather have Odell Beckham Jr. over Dez Bryant.
Five reasons why Marcus Smith is on Eagles roster bubble - MCall
Tackling issues/soft stigma. More disturbing than Smith's surprising ineffectiveness as a pass rusher last year (after the team claimed that would be his biggest immediate strength) was word that leaked from the inside that suggested he was not particularly fond of contact. That may be OK if you're a wide receiver with "Pink" in your name or a cornerback with a nickname of Neon. But an outside linebacker in a 3-4? Uh-uh. If Smith does indeed have this stink on his name -- and no one except the coaches, who will never admit it, really knows -- he'll have to find a way to get rid it. Either way, he'll have to do better as a tackler in the open field. Incidentally, tackling is why Vinny Curry will never, ever be used as an outside linebacker in a game that counts. He's a hand-on-the ground pass rusher. Period. But I digress.
Donte Stallworth: Rookies, learn from my mistakes - CSN Philly
Stallworth, one of the Eagles’ leading wide receivers during their 2006 playoff run, made headlines for the wrong reasons three years later when he killed a pedestrian while driving his Bentley Continental GT near Miami Beach. Stallworth’s blood-alcohol content was above the legal limit, and he was charged with DUI manslaughter. After agreeing to a plea bargain, he served 24 days of a 30-day sentence. He was also sentenced to 1,000 hours of community service and eight years of probation and agreed to a settlement with the victim’s family to avoid a civil suit.
