Chip Kelly wasn't lying last Thursday when he said Sam Bradford would start doing 7-on-7 drills this week. But he may not have been painting the entire picture.
As documented in my practices notes from the Eagles' Tuesday session, Bradford did begin throwing in team drills. The order went as follows: Mark Sanchez with the first team, Matt Barkley with the second team, Tim Tebow with the third team, and then Sam Bradford with the first team up again. Unlike his fellow quarterbacks, however, Bradford's repetitions were very limited. He only took about five snaps during the team's first 7-on-7 session. He did not take any reps when the Eagles revisited the 7-on-7 drill later in practice.
Bradford is slowly but surely recovering from his latest ACL injury. It's for his best that the Eagles aren't rushing him into action, but the team will want to see him back soon.
Here are some videos of Bradford from Tuesday's practice.
