Let's get to the links...

Eagles minicamp practice notes, June 18, 2015: Walter Thurmond adjusting nicely to safety - PhillyVoice
Sproles looks great too, by the way. A funny thing happens when you cover Eagles practices long enough. The players who you expect to do good things typically continue to do good things, and you start to not notice so much anymore. I believe that is already happening with Sproles, but he has looked every bit as quick and elusive as he did a year ago when we got our first looks at him.

Darren Sproles on Zach Ertz: 'He's about to be a superstar' - CSN Philly
If the hype last spring around Zach Ertz came prematurely, the Eagles haven’t shied away from making bold predictions this year for the tight end’s third season. Veteran running back Darren Sproles, who’s been training with Ertz in San Diego during the offseason, became the latest to forecast greatness for his teammate. “He has great hands, man,” Sproles said Thursday. “His hands and his route running are just great, really. He’s about to be a superstar.”

Hot Topic: #3 OLB - Iggles Blitz
Connor Barwin and Brandon Graham are both coming off career years. They will be the starting OLBs for the Eagles and expectations for them are pretty high. With Graham taking over a starting role this year, that leaves a big opening for the #3 OLB spot. This is a great opportunity for Marcus Smith, last year’s fairly invisible 1st round pick. If he can win the #3 job for now, that would help the team and slowly get fans on his side. There is no worse role in sports than being the object of the scorn of disappointed Eagles fans. Smith got off to a slow start this spring due to a nagging injury, but is now back on the field. Sheil Kapadia talked about him.

Report card for Sam Bradford, Tim Tebow and Eagles' quarterbacks - NJ.com
Bradford was destined to shine during offseason workouts, as he is able to just sit in the pocket and throw the ball without any pressure. His arm is without question the best on the team. Bradford throws an accurate, tight spiral, and can throw it further than any Eagles' quarterback has been able to since Michael Vick. If given time, Bradford has the ability to make all of the throws in this offense. Another positive for Bradford is that after a little over a month of football activities, he hasn't suffered a setback. Granted he was limited, but it seems that Bradford's rehab from the injured ACL that cost him all of last season is going smoothly, which is perhaps the biggest positive the quarterback could have asked for.

Versatility puts G.J. Kinne in position to succeed with Eagles - Daily News
G.J. KINNE wants to play in the NFL. He's not concerned about the job description. He doesn't care if he's a quarterback, wide receiver, running back or nose tackle. He just wants to play. Kinne has spent the better part of the last two seasons as a quarterback on the Eagles' practice squad. But even with an impressive 138.2 preseason passer rating the last two summers, he realized it would be next to impossible for him to make the Eagles' 53-man roster this summer strictly as a quarterback.

Eagles Wake Up Call: Allen Barbre Steps In - Birds 24/7
Allen Barbre is entering his eighth NFL season, and to this point only has eight NFL starts under his belt. Seven of those came in 2009 at right tackle when he was with the Packers. The other was last year in the season opener against Jacksonville — also at right tackle — in place of the suspended Lane Johnson. Given how high this coaching staff appears to be on Barbre, it seems odd that he hasn't gotten more work to this point in his career. What gives?

As Eagles Break, What Do We Know? - PE.com
There is a fine line now, with six weeks to go before the Eagles are due back at the NovaCare Complex for Training Camp, between rest and ramping up preparation for 90 players on a roster with a world of potential ahead.

Family Hour: What's the deal with Dez Bryant? - SB Nation
On this week's episode, retired NFL defensive end Stephen White and Danny Kelly make some Tom Brady suspension predictions, talk about Dez Bryant's contract situation and so much more.
