Per agent Brett Tessler, the Philadelphia Eagles are signing free agent guard/center Jared Wheeler.
The Philadelphia Eagles are signing Jared Wheeler (G/C, U of Miami) on Monday pending a physical. He was let go by Seattle after the Draft.

Wheeler, 24, was originally signed as an undrafted free agent in 2014 out of the University of Miami by the Carolina Panthers. Wheeler was largely a special teams player, making six starts his senior year. The Panthers waived him in July of 2014 and he was claimed by the Buffalo Bills, but he failed to make the final roster after appearing in their pre-season. In February of this year he was signed by the Seattle Seahawks, but they released him in May. He then participated in rookie camps with both the Seahawks and San Fransisco 49ers.
Wheeler was coached for his first two years at Miami by Eagles offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland. Eagles mini camp starts on Tuesday.
