Eagles Rookie Minicamp 2015: 11 Tryout Players Invited

The Eagles have invited these players to the team's rookie minicamp on a tryout basis.

Rich Barnes-USA TODAY Sports

The Philadelphia Eagles have invited a total of eleven tryout players to the team's rookie minicamp which begins tomorrow on Friday, May 8.

Once again, these players are not officially under contract. They have only been invited to rookie minicamp on a tryout basis. The Eagles' roster is currently filled at the maximum occupancy of 90. If the Eagles wanted to sign one of these players, they would have to free up a roster spot first. More likely than not the Eagles are just looking for extra bodies to fill practice repetitions this weekend. As you can see, some of the guys are local players.

Last year the Eagles signed one of their tryout players: DB Davon Morgan. He spent some time with the team before getting cut late in the summer.

Here are the players:

DB Daniel Fitzpatrick (Tennessee State)

DT Ofa Hautau (Oklahoma State)

WR Mike Johnson (Delaware)

OT Vince Kowalski (Villanova)

RB Kevin Monangai (Villanova)

LB Pat O'Hara (Monmouth)

LB Justine Oxendine (Citadel)

S Joe Sarnese (Villanova)

QB Andy Vailas (New Hampshire)

QB Chandler Whitmer (Connecticut)

LB Mike Zeuli (Princeton)
