According to an official release, the Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to terms with their first round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft: wide receiver Nelson Agholor. The Eagles drafted the former USC pass catcher one week ago today at No. 20 overall.
Must Reads
Agholor and the Eagles agreed to terms so quickly because now that contracts are slotted, there isn't much negotiation room. The deal is a standard four-year contract. It's expected to be worth around $9.4 million with a signing bonus of $5.1 million.
This deals ensure that Agholor will definitely be ready in time for Eagles training camp, which begins in the summer. The Eagles have until then to get the rest of their remaining draft picks under contract in order for them to be eligible for practice.
The Eagles already signed three of their draft picks on Wednesday evening.
Four down, two to go.
