It is always important in the draft community to keep an open mind and listen to new takes regarding players and philosophies.
Must Reads
Two evaluators I consistently come back to are Matt Waldman of the RSP Film Room and Matt Harmon of various notable establishments. Waldman is tremendously insightful evaluator, as you can see in his videos, and does a great job exposing the smaller aspects of players' games that make or break them as prospects. He provides an incredibly unique perspective and is someone I would suggest following along in draft season. Matt Harmon, in my opinion, is one of the best wide receiver evaluators in the country. He created a new film based, metric profile, called Reception Perception to quantify receivers' abilities. His work is tremendous and, like Matt Waldman, I would strongly suggest following his work.
In this video, the two of them go through and break down a few of Agholor's games during his final season at USC. They do a great job talking about his strengths and weaknesses as a player, as well as relating them to how he fits in Philadelphia's offense. Harmon, who is a big fan of Agholor, says that is very possible Agholor breaks 1,000 yards in his rookie season and could end up being among the most productive rookies from the 2015 NFL Draft class.
Watch and enjoy the two of them discussing the future Eagles star. More importantly, try to watch with a critical eye yourself and formulate your own opinion on Agholor.
